Maths T3 W8

Hi! Welcome back to another post today and i will be talking about my maths with you. So for Maths this week we got given 4 or 5 questions and we had to solve with a Maths buddy. We had one create task to get the task done. When we finish the questions you and you're buddy share it in front of the whole group. When you share your Maths 1 person writes the question down and the other one is explaining. We needed to solve decimals and/or fraction. Sorry I don't have a photo of it but I'll do another blog to let you guys know when I get the picture/photo.

How to be a good math mate

  In our math workshops we have been trying to answer the question 'How can we be a good math mate?' but before I get into that I should talk about what a math mate is. So basically in our math workshops we have been learning about math mates, a math mate is a person you get paired up with to complete the math questions for the week. I also think it's a team effort, that both people should be playing their part in the math tasks. The two math mates has to have the exact same thing in their math book. Now that we have stated what a math mate is now we will find out what a good math mate is. I think a good math mate is a team that works together to complete the task they also have a stable understanding of what the task is. I also think that a math mate is a reliable work that always can lend a helping to those who need it. They also play their part in the questions.

Math DLO blog

 Hello reader again, today I will be talking to you about my Math DLO, and also what it means to be a good Math buddy. So for my math DLO, I just have to answer the question in this blog. To be a good math mate, you work efficiently with your math buddy to answer the questions and equations correctly and you respect your buddy and be kind too. For the math workshops, I just had to answer the equations organized by the teacher, so that's what is happening with my math workshop. That is all for now, see you later.

Math W5

Hi! This week on maths, we did a thing. The "thing" I was talking about was the question me and my partner, William I did on the what you call "munching monarchs". Me and my buddy (do you who it is) did question number 1 to 3. Now, now, now, here is what we call a growth mindset and you know I like growth mindset and it makes you learn and stuff. Math T3 W4

 Hi, this week's goal for maths is to use multiplication and division strategies to compare fraction sizes with whole numbers.We have to work with or pick a (what we call) mathmate. Usually groups are only allowed 2, but my group worked as a three. (you see what I'm doing, right)?Anyways, we were doing hard but interesting fractions (i think I need a little more help on that) and a little bit of Mult/Div in there. Bye! (Pls comment)

Maths T2 W1

Hi, I'm going to tell you all about ratios today. Firstly though, I need to tell you about my work in detail. So, I did ratios on the sprocket and the pedal gear which is on a bike so that the bike can move. There were two questions and 1 question has 3 mini question IN both of them (I think). I will show you my awesome but educational maths work (on ratios). ratio between two or more quantities is a way of measuring their sizes compared to each other. For example, if a school has 20 teachers and 500 pupils then the ratio of teachers to students is written as 20:500 (read as "20 to 500"). It can be written two ways; for example, 1:10 or 1/10. Equivalent ratios (which are, in effect, equivalent fractions) are two ratios that express the same relationship between numbers. We can create equivalent ratios by multiplying or dividing both the numerator and denominator of a given ratio by the same number. And as we know, if we multiply both the numerator and the denominator by similar non-zero real quantities, their ratio will never change. It can be written as (5n)/(7n), where n a non-zero real number. ratio shows how much of one thing there is compared to another. Ratios are usually written in the form a:b. If you are making orange squash and you mix one part orange to four parts water, then the ratio of orange to water will be 1:4. The order in which a ratio is stated is important.

Maths T3 W2

Hi, this week I did something called Mass. Just about anything in mathematics can be a basic fact. The main ones encountered are the whole-number basic facts, and in particular addition and multiplication, and their close cousins subtraction and division. Maths is kind of easy for me and it really helps my brain to think very well in tests. People in every country use maths and all its branches. So, wherever you go, you will find people using it. Mass is a measure of how much matter is in an object. Mass is commonly measured by how much something weighs. But weight is caused by gravity, so your weight on the Moon is less than here on Earth, while the mass stays the same. Mass is measured in grams, kilograms and, tonnes (Metric) or ounces and pounds (US units).Mass is a measure of how much matter is in an object. Mass is commonly measured by how much something weighs. But weight is caused by gravity, so your weight on the Moon is less than here on Earth, while the mass stays the same. Mass is measured in grams, kilograms and, tonnes (Metric) or ounces and pounds (US units). A measure of how much matter is in an object. This gold bar is quite small but has a mass of 1 kilogram (about 2.2 pounds), so it contains a lot of matter. Mass is commonly measured by how much something weighs. Mass measures the amount of matter in an object (anything you can physically touch). Basically, mass is a measurement of the number of atoms in an object. Mass is typically measured in kilograms or grams. Weight measures the force of gravity pulling on an object. Mass is a measurement of the amount of matter something contains, while Weight is the measurement of the pull of gravity on an object. 2) Mass is measured by using a balance comparing a known amount of matter to an unknown amount of matter. Weight is measured on a scale. Here is my work.

Plurals & Suffixes

Hi everybody! Today, I'll be showing you how plurals and suffixes work on a slide which is just 4 slides but don't worry, it has a lot of details in it and I gave you some examples. So, first, plurals and suffixes is just to form in English, just add the suffix "s" to the noun. For example, oranges, pens, boards, etc. The correct plurals usually depends on what letter the singular noun ends in. To make regular nouns plural, add "s", "ss", "sh", "ch", "x" or "z", add "es" to the end to make it a plural. I hope that explains it all, but look in my slide for deeper information about it. Rounding and compensating

Hi everyone! Today I'm going to tell you how I do my rounding and compensating. I'm going to show you my work later on with the link attached to this post. So, I think you all know about how to do rounding and compensating but for those who don't know, I'll explain it. So, In rounding and compensation, numbers are rounded to the nearest tidy number like 10, 20, 100, or 150 and then added. The answer is adjusted according to whether the numbers were rounded up or down. So that hopefully will help you with your maths! Here is my link to my slide/work!

Maths (Standard Written Form)

Hi guys! Today, I'm going to show you how I do my Standard Written Form. I'm going to show you it at the end.

Standard Written Forms are really easy and fun at the same time! The reason I like Standard Written Form is that you don't have to do a lot of writing and all you do is just know your additions and subtractions so it's very easy for me but of course not all of you! We have to do 6 questions, 3 of them was a 4 digit number which is obviously in the thousands place and the other 3 was decimals. Decimals does seem hard, but when you do it for real, you'll find it really easy. I like maths but on a scale from 1 to 10, I'm about 7.

Maths

I like learning and I also like maths! I like doing geometry the most as I like maths. Here is a blog about maths I learned at school. What is the basics of geometry? Here is the answer: in its simplest form, geometry is the mathematical study of shapes and space. Geometry can deal with flat, two-dimensional shapes, such as squares and circles, or three-dimensional shapes with depth, such as cubes and spheres. That is an example of geometry. There are 3 types of geometry, they are: there are 3 geometries: Euclidean, spherical, and hyperbolic. These are the only geometries possible for 2-dimensional objects, although a proof of this is beyond the scope of this book. Geometry is just using shapes which is pretty fun and easy, try it, it'll be fun, trust me. Maths is really fun and it keeps your brain muscle working if your bored or even tire maybe.
